Meet Rachel

BA Hons. Kin, MSc.PT, Clinic Owner

As an avid runner and soccer player, I learned early on how important effective rehabilitation is—especially when injuries happen. Those experiences shaped my desire to become a physiotherapist and continue to influence the way I practice today. Since entering the profession, I’ve completed extensive post-graduate training to broaden my knowledge and treatment skills. I work with a wide range of conditions, including athletic injuries, post-operative recovery, and pain that develops from new activities or from periods of being less active.

My treatment philosophy is simple: rehabilitation works best when you’re an active participant. I combine clear education and customized exercise programs with hands-on techniques such as manual therapy and soft tissue work to reduce pain, improve movement, and help you get back to the activities you love as efficiently as possible.

I hold a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University (2010) and a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with distinction from Redeemer University (2007). I am registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and am a member of both the Canadian and Ontario Physiotherapy Associations.

Outside the clinic, you’ll often find me hiking the Dundas Valley with my family, cooking from scratch, or camping with my husband and our three children. I’m also actively involved in our church community as well as at our kids’ school.

Meet Jessica

BAHSc, AT, RMT, CAT(C)

After having numerous sports-related injuries  throughout my life, I understand the importance of rehabilitation and manual treatment in order to continue living an active lifestyle. My own experiences with aches, pains, and injuries led me to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Therapy at Sheridan college, graduating in 2023. After completing my degree, I went on to further my education and develop my manual technique skills by studying massage therapy at the Ontario College of Health and Technology in 2024.

My approach to treatment involves using a combination of manual and soft tissue techniques in conjunction with simple stretching and exercise programs. My goal is to assist you in achieving your own goals, whatever they may be! Along with my strong background in treating sports and activity related injuries, I also have experience with post-operative rehabilitation, postural strain injuries, tension headaches, and general relaxation massages. When I am not working, I am often engaged in one of my many hobbies such as cycling, hiking, and reading. I love spending time in nature, going for walks with my dog, and being with friends and family.
